Superintendent Elizabeth Kelleher Dwyer Participates in AAJI Insurance Forum
On Monday, October 17, Elizabeth Kelleher Dwyer, Rhode Island's Superintendent of Banking and Insurance joined the panel "Boosting Financial Inclusion Through Digital Financial Literacy" at the Indonesia Life Insurance Association's (AAJI) Insurance Forum 2022. Sup. Dwyer discussed the ways in which U.S. states and insurance supervisors are working to improve both financial literacy among consumers, and the growth of the (life) insurance market. Specifically, she highlighted the ongoing work of the 海角论坛, both at the Innovation Cybersecurity and Technology Committee and the Special Committee on Race and Insurance financial education and inclusion, including the formation of our recent Foundation, supervisors' examination of algorithmic bias, and the educational content for use by individual states.
